According to ASOS, these gold and black wedges are "in the style of Kate Moss". This claim has confused me a little because, in the accompanying picture, the shoes Kate's wearing look nothing like these, aside from the colour scheme. Never mind, though: whether Kate Moss would wear them or not, I know I'd wear them, and that's good enough for me. These are the kind of wedge heels that will look great in winter with a pair of opaque tights, although they'd look just as good with bare legs and a party dress. The shaped heel stops them looking too clumsy, and while the velcro strap across the front sounds like it should belong on a child's shoe, the contrast between it and the gold heel makes it work. These are a bargainous 30 from ASOS.
