Brooklyn's own Samantha Pleet recently presented her Spring/Summer 2008 collection, this time with the help of a short film featuring her clothing. While 2007's Spring collection was steeped in stories of pirates and vagabonds, for 2008 Pleet's historical references, showing up in the form of collar and button details, are now mixed with elements of a style we like to call Brooklyn casual (just ride the L Train on any sunny Summer day and you'll see what we mean).
